Teacher Randa says: "As part of my participation in the Teacher Capacity Building program, I have learned from STEAM module the meaning of real creativity, integration between subjects, how to use problem-solving, and linking it to the practical reality of students."
"Through STEAM method application with the third graders at Yasuf elementary Mixed School, I have chosen the" Plant Parts "lesson as a practical opportunity to demonstrate this approach. We designed a prototype for plant parts, using simple materials from the recycled household environment, and employed these parts, to build a tower using rubber, thereby enhancing motor synergy and teamwork among students. This activity is not limited to the subject of science, but is linked to mathematics, through measurement, and art through design and creativity.”
"The results were promising; I noticed students' passion for science and their remarkable enjoyment of its classes, which contributed to enhancing their creative thinking skills and their ability to design. This experience has assured me that STEAM is not just an educational style, it is a tool for building innovative minds, capable of facing the challenges of the future. I applied STEAM in many activities in science, and I have transferred this wonderful experience to my schoolmates and trained them in this module. "
