Ms. Renad Qubbaj has been the General Director of Tamer institute for Community Education since 2006. She completed her BA in Physics and Electrical Engineering and her Master degree in atomic Physics from Western Michigan University in 1993. She presented a number of papers in local, regional and international conferences including in Chile, Sweden, Denmark, United Arab Emirates, Lebanon and Norway. Among her papers was (Palestinain residence under occupation: Informal and Community-based education) in Mexico. Ms. Qubbaj is an activist for children’s rights and has been a member of different committees working on the subject. She is an active member in the UNESCO Palestinian Chapter on (Education for All) and a member of CCNGO. She is a jury member at different awards for children’s books in the Arab world.
