Alumna Sarah Melhem Returns to the 2026 Summer Institute as a Guest Speaker and Network Connector for the Teach For All Global Network
The 2026 Summer Institute welcomed alumna Sarah Malham, a graduate of the first cohort of the Alumni Leadership Development Program, as a guest speaker and Network Connector for the Teach for All global network.
During her session, Sarah introduced the new Fellows to the Teach for All global network, highlighting the wide range of opportunities it offers, including professional development programs, trainings, learning opportunities, and connections with network members from around the world. She also encouraged participants to actively engage with the network and take advantage of the global resources and experiences available to support their professional and leadership journeys.
Sarah also shared her personal journey with Teach for Palestine, reflecting on how the Fellowship strengthened her leadership and teaching skills while expanding her practical experience. She explained that Teach for Palestine gave her the opportunity to step into the classroom and invest her academic background in engineering by applying it to the field of education. What had been a long-held dream of becoming a teacher became a reality through her experience with the organization and earning the Teach for Palestine Fellowship Certificate, which paved the way for her and opened new opportunities to become an educator making a meaningful impact in the lives of students.
Sarah's participation in the Summer Institute reflects the lasting impact of the Teach for Palestine community, where alumni continue to support new generations of Fellows, share their experiences, and strengthen their connection to the Teach for All global network—contributing to a community of learning and leadership that creates impact both locally and globally.
