Life Skills module: aims to empower participating teachers by building a strong understanding of the concept of life skills and introducing them to the basic concepts and practical applications within the educational context. The program will identify and clarify the most important life skills that can be developed and used in primary school classrooms, along with integrating these skills into the curriculum. Teachers will also be provided with the necessary tools and strategies to handle the challenges they may face in the school environment, while fostering life skills among students and colleagues. Finally, a learning community will be built within the training group that encourages interaction, exchange of experiences, and promotes collaborative learning.
STEAM module aims to introduce lower grade teachers (1-4) to the STEAM methodology and develop their abilities to design learning situations that are suitable for young children and align with the principles of this approach. The program also focuses on enhancing teachers' skills in integrating various subject areas and activating diverse thinking skills, particularly those in line with the STEAM methodology. Additionally, the module seeks to create an engaging educational environment in Palestinian schools through the implementation of STEAM, ultimately fostering a generation capable of addressing future challenges and thinking creatively in line with sustainable development goals.
Digitalization module aims to enhance the progression and logical sequence of knowledge and skills, enabling both teachers and students to use digital tools and resources in an active and collaborative manner. The module also focuses on selecting and integrating digital tools across all aspects of the curriculum, including content, activities, assessments, and feedback. It seeks to develop the cognitive and skill-based aspects of participants to ensure equitable access and inclusive education. Additionally, the module aims to improve the management of the digital classroom and embrace emerging technologies.
Inclusive Education module aims to raise teachers' cognitive awareness of developmental cognitive disorders and assist them in developing early detection skills for students who experience academic, developmental, and emotional behavioral disorders. The module also focuses on empowering teachers to identify appropriate accommodations for students' needs and how to implement them in the classroom. Additionally, it aims to familiarize teachers with networking and referral mechanisms for students who require specialized professional intervention. Finally, the module strives to enhance participants' skills in dealing with all categories of students, regardless of their difficulties or challenges within the classroom.
Psychosocial and Emotional Support module aims to develop teachers' skills in dealing with crises, including handling frustration, stress, and managing crises among students. It also seeks to provide sustainable self and community support networks by empowering participants with the basics and principles of mental health, while facilitating referrals and networking with other service providers. The module focuses on the mental health of the teachers themselves, which helps improve their connection with themselves and their communication with others. Finally, it aims to develop teachers' skills in using expressive arts as a means of providing psychological support to students.
