As part of its ongoing efforts to support and develop the education sector, Teach For Palestine provided 20 laptops to the National Institute for Educational Training on Thursday, May 21, in support of the capacity-building program for lower basic stage teachers (Grades 1–4) in the southern region.
The laptops were handed over during a meeting held at the Institute’s headquarters, attended by Ms. Noor Mattour, Executive Director of Teach For Palestine Foundation, and Mr. Mazen Jarrar, Director General of the National Institute for Educational Training, along with representatives from both the Foundation and the Institute.
This initiative reflects the importance of providing teachers with the technological tools needed to enhance the quality of training and learning, develop educational practices, and enable teachers to integrate technology more effectively in classrooms.
Teach For Palestine is committed to providing quality education for Palestinian students in the lower basic stage by developing the capacities of new teachers in the areas of inclusive education, life skills, digital learning, STEAM methodology integration, psychosocial support, and climate education. The Foundation also works to improve classroom environments by providing educational resources, technological devices, and equipping classrooms in partner schools.
