This program aims to attract the best talents from new teachers for the basic education stage in the Ministry of Education, focusing on building their capabilities, developing their leadership and pedagogical skills, and providing them with the necessary educational tools to improve the educational and pedagogical environment on one hand, and to lead change in their schools and surroundings on the other.
This program is in partnership with the Ministry of Education to coordinate the mechanism for attracting qualified teachers, training them, and following up on their performance. The mechanism includes: selecting teachers from the newly appointed list, conducting interviews to choose the best talents, and providing an integrated pedagogical qualification program for the accepted teachers to develop their abilities in areas such as creative and inclusive education, life skills, psychosocial support, digitalization, and teaching mathematics, science, technology, and engineering (STEM), in addition to addressing environmental and social issues in Palestine.
The training begins with an intensive summer program preceded by a preparatory phase, followed by a series of intensive training sessions over 18 months during which the teachers continue their training while on the job. Accepted teachers in the training program are also provided with the opportunity to receive follow-up and mentoring sessions, either individually or in groups, to ensure the best performance.
