Teach For Palestine and the Arab Islamic Bank Explore Avenues for Collaboration in Corporate Social Responsibility

Teach For Palestine and the Arab Islamic Bank held a meeting on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, to discuss prospects for joint cooperation in the field of corporate social responsibility and to support the educational context in Palestine.

Representing Teach For Palestine were Chairlady of the Board Dr. Tafeeda Jarbawi, Chief Executive Officer Ms. Nour Mattour, and Programs Manager Ms. Rawan Ayaash. Representing the Arab Islamic Bank were General Manager Mr. Hani Nasser, Public Relations Manager Mr. Ahmad Sartawe, and Head of Sustainability Unit Ms. Khadija Al-Sharif.

The meeting addressed opportunities to build a strategic partnership aimed at maximizing sustainable developmental impact in the education sector, in alignment with national development priorities and the needs of the local community.

Discussions also emphasized the importance of directing interventions toward marginalized areas and groups, with a particular focus on supporting teachers and students as the core of the educational process. The participants further stressed the importance of embedding sustainability principles in the design and implementation of educational programs and initiatives to ensure long-term impact and maximize educational returns through high-quality programs and effective partnerships that contribute to improving education quality and promoting equal access to educational opportunities.

It is worth noting that Teach for Palestine is dedicated to providing quality education to Palestinian students in the lower basic stage by developing the capacities of new teachers in inclusive education, life skills, digital learning, the integration of the STEAM methodology, psychosocial support, and climate education. The organization also works to enhance classroom environments by supplying targeted schools with educational resources and technological equipment.
