Teach for Palestine participates in the Global Teach for All Gathering held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, represented by Mr. Nakhleh Al-Qura’ as the treasurer of the Board of Directors, and Mr. Anwar Abu A’mash, the chief operations officer, representing the executive team. The gathering brought together delegations from member countries of the international network. It lasted for six days and included panel discussions and workshops focused on developing educational systems and enhancing the exchange of expertise among participants.
The gathering’s activities included learning about Cambodia’s experience within the Teach for All network and the positive impact it has achieved in improving the quality of education. The discussions also involved sharing experiences among participants, highlighting effective practices, common challenges, and ways to address them. The event also welcomed Palestine as a new member of this international network.
It is worth noting that Teach for Palestine is dedicated to providing quality education for Palestinian students in the lower basic stage by developing the capacities of new teachers in inclusive education, life skills, digitization, the use of the STEAM methodology, psychosocial support, and climate education. The organization also strives to improve classroom environments by providing educational resources and technological devices to targeted schools.
