Teach for Palestine held its third Board of Directors meeting for the year in the city of Ramallah

Teach for Palestine held its third Board of Directors meeting for the year in the city of Ramallah, with the participation of board members in person and via video conferencing, alongside representatives from the organization’s executive team.
The meeting was opened by the Chairlady of the Board, Dr. Tafeeda Jarbawi, who praised the efforts of the executive team, commending their determination to achieve progress despite the difficult circumstances the country faces on a daily basis. She emphasized that these achievements are the result of joint efforts and ongoing collaboration between the executive team and board members, who continually work to address gaps and overcome obstacles in order to meet the organization’s strategic goals.
During the meeting, the third quarterly report was presented. It included a summary of the organization’s program achievements during the third quarter of 2025, as well as progress toward the planned performance indicators. One of the key highlights was the onboarding of a new cohort of teachers and the initiation of their training and connection to decent and sustainable employment opportunities.
The report also included a financial summary detailing the funds raised for project implementation and actual spending compared to projections. During the discussion, the Chairlady of the Board highlighted the main points of the organization’s future expansion plan, which aims to increase the number of beneficiaries, expand the geographical reach across more governorates in Palestine, and explore the potential for introducing new areas of intervention.
Despite the growing economic, political, and security challenges in Palestine, Teach for Palestine continues to play an active role in empowering new Palestinian teachers to improve the quality of education provided to students in Palestinian schools.
