Teach for Palestine launched the activities of the second Summer Institute

On Sunday, July 6, 2025, Teach for Palestine launched the activities of the second Summer Institute, with the participation of a distinguished group of new graduates and promising teachers. This is part of the Graduate Capacity Building Program – Leaders for Change  Track, which aims to prepare a generation of teachers capable of bringing about positive change in classroom environments in Palestinian schools.

The Summer Institute is a key milestone in the program's path, where participants receive specialized training in the fields of education, classroom leadership, modern teaching methods, effective lesson planning, and life skills. The program also includes interactive and practical sessions and hands-on experiences that help enhance their readiness for active engagement in the teaching profession.

In his opening speech, Mr. Anwar Abu Amash, the Executive Director of the Foundation, welcomed the attendees and participants. He emphasized that this institute embodies Ta‘allem for Palestine’s vision of empowering teachers to become leaders of change, pointing out that the program adopts an integrated approach that combines professional qualification with continuous support and supervision.

The Summer Institute runs for six weeks, during which there are interactive meetings, specialized training sessions, and support activities aimed at preparing participants to perform their educational roles effectively and flexibly, amid the complex challenges facing the education sector in Palestine.
