Ramallah – April 30, 2025
As part of its ongoing support for the educational process in Palestine, the educational advisor of Teach for Palestine, Dr. Durgham Khalil, participated on behalf of the organization in the opening of the annual final exhibition at Beitillo Mixed Basic School, affiliated with the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Directorate of Education, on Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
The exhibition featured outstanding student presentations, including a range of innovative scientific experiments and purposeful educational activities that demonstrated their engagement with the curriculum in creative ways. Teacher Haneen Zakzouk, a participant in the Leading Teaching and Learning program, was one of the main coordinators of the exhibition, leveraging the skills she acquired from STEAM-focused training to help produce the event.
The school administration and teaching staff praised Ms. Zakzouk’s significant role in organizing the exhibition, noting that her active involvement highlights the impact of investing in teacher training on advanced approaches like STEAM. This, they noted, contributes to enhancing the quality of education and encourages students to think critically and creatively.
Teach for Palestine believes that teachers are the core drivers of change and reaffirms its commitment to continuing support for educational initiatives that make a real difference in the lives of students and their communities.
