Dr. Nour Mattour
Chief Executive Officer

Nour Mattour is a PhD candidate in Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Manouba in Tunisia and is currently in the stage of awaiting the defense of her doctoral dissertation. Her research focuses on crisis management and the sustainability of educational systems, with particular interest in the role of technology adoption in enhancing the sustainability and resilience of Palestinian educational institutions in times of crisis. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Jordan.

Since 2009, Nour has been working as a lecturer in the Department of Public Administration at the Faculty of Law and Public Administration at Birzeit University, where she has taught several undergraduate courses in public administration, organizational behavior, public policy, and communication skills. She has also held multiple academic and administrative responsibilities, including serving as Head of the Department of Public Administration and Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Law and Public Administration. Through these roles, she contributed to the development of several academic programs and to enhancing the quality of the educational process within the faculty.

Alongside her academic work, Nour has contributed to initiatives related to governance and capacity building at both the institutional and community levels. She has worked as a trainer in communication skills and career development. In addition, she has published research in peer-reviewed academic journals and edited volumes, with her scholarly publications focusing on the sustainability of educational systems, crisis management, and public sector issues https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0536-2257 .

Rawan Ayyash
Programs Manager

Holds a BA in English Literature and a minor in translation form Birzeit University, Rawan has 6 years of experience in projects management in the education field. She dedicates her knowledge and experience to advocate for the rights of children, women, and youth to have quality education based on the values of equality and justice to ensure that no one is left behind. 

Bayyan Sharif
Finance & HR Officer

Holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Birzeit University. She is a highly experienced Accounting and Administrative professional with over 12 years of experience and has provided  comprehensive accounting and administration services to different kinds of businesses and organizations. She specializes in budgeting, reporting, planning and financial analysis. 

Sandy Hmidat
Programs Assistant

Holds a BA in English Literature and Translation, she is Programs Assistant at Teach for Palestine, where she oversees the implementation of educational programs, ensuring alignment with objectives, budget, and timelines. She coordinates field visits, organizes training sessions, and maintains accurate participant data. Sandy builds strong relationships with local partners and supports key activities like summer institutes and outreach. She also contributes to program visibility through content creation for the website and social media, while collaborating with the admin and finance teams on contracts and logistical needs.

Mahmoud Sammar
Programs Assistant

Holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature with a minor in Education from Al-Quds University. Works as a Program Assistant at 'Teach for Palestine' institution, where he contributes to planning and implementing educational activities, ensuring they align with the program’s objectives, budget, and timelines.

He oversees the organization of training sessions and field visits and ensures accurate updates of participant data. Mahmoud builds effective relationships with partner schools and the local community and supports the implementation of key initiatives such as summer institutes and educational programs. He also contributes to enhancing the institution's digital presence by preparing content for the website and social media platforms and collaborates with the management and finance teams to ensure efficient and harmonious workflow.

Doaa Salim
Educational Supervisor Officer

 

Holds an M.A. in Mathematics with over 5 years of experience in teacher professional development, curriculum design, and community education projects in Palestine. Specialized in instructional supervision, teacher coaching, and designing interactive digital learning content for K-12 education. She has successfully supervised classroom practices across multiple schools, developed structured teacher support plans, and contributed to monitoring and evaluation systems to improve teaching quality and student engagement.

Doaa has also worked on community education and humanitarian programs with organizations such as the Tamer Institute for Community Education, and Birzeit University’s Center for Continuing Education, supporting teacher training, digital curriculum development, and inclusive education initiatives.

Dr. Khadeeja Ismael
Educational Supervisor

Dr. Khadija Ismail is an educational consultant at Teach for Palestine. She holds a PhD in Psychological and Educational Counseling from the University of Jordan. She has over twenty-two years of professional experience in the education sector, gained through her work at the Palestinian Ministry of Education in the fields of educational supervision and psychological and educational counseling.

Throughout her career, she has contributed to the development of educational practice by training teachers, school principals, and educational counselors, and by implementing numerous specialized training programs and workshops. She has also participated in the preparation and development of educational and counseling guides at the ministerial level. In addition, she has made scholarly contributions through peer-reviewed educational research and participation in international scientific conferences.

Mahmoud Salim
Programs Assistant - South

Holds a Master of Arts in Global Studies jointly awarded by Bard College (New York) and Central European University (Vienna), in addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies and Spatial Practices from Al-Quds Bard College and a Diploma in Cooperatives Management from Bethlehem University. He is the Programs Assistant for the South Area at Teach for Palestine, where he oversees the implementation of educational programs, ensuring alignment with objectives, budgets, and timelines. Mahmoud coordinates field visits, organizes training sessions, and maintains accurate participant data. He builds strong relationships with local partners and supports key activities such as summer institutes and outreach initiatives. He also contributes to program visibility through content creation for the organization’s website and social media platforms, while collaborating closely with the administrative and finance teams on contracts and logistical arrangements.
