Teach for Palestine Organization Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie

Teach for Palestine signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, in a step aimed at expanding joint collaboration between the two parties in the fields of educational development, scientific research, training, and volunteer work, contributing to supporting the quality and inclusiveness of school education in Palestine.
 
The MoU was signed by the Chairlady of the Board of Teach for Palestine Organization, Dr. Tafeeda Al-Jarbawi, and the President of Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie, Dr. Hussein Shanak, reflecting the commitment of both sides to build an effective partnership that brings together academic expertise and civil society efforts to serve the Palestinian education sector.
 
The MoU aims to implement joint initiatives and activities to develop the educational process through collaboration in research, training, and capacity-building, supporting applied research related to the organization’s programs, and encouraging university students and graduates to participate in its educational and volunteer programs. It also includes recognizing the foundation for practical training and volunteer work, in addition to enhancing the exchange of expertise and integrating academic and practical aspects to develop inclusive educational practices and improve education quality.
 
This collaboration aligns with the mission of Teach for Palestine Organization to provide high-quality education for Palestinian students at the lower primary level, by developing the capacities of new teachers in inclusive education, life skills, digitalization, applying the STEAM methodology, psychosocial support, and climate education, as well as working to improve the classroom environment through the provision of educational resources and technological devices to targeted schools.
